As many of you know our mother passed away recently (Jan 10th). In memory of her me and my sister decided to get a matching tattoo to show our respects, our sorrow and our faith in knowing she is in a much better place. The design was worked on by myself and my long time friend and one of my mothers 'other' children, Philip Manuel. He also actually did the tattoo work himself. The design was to show her love of God and her passion for angels, she often referred to us as her angels. I know many do not agree with tattoos and she had mixed feelings herself but I think she looked down on us and approved.

Thank you Phil, she would have loved it.

Also, thank you everyone else for your support, respect and understanding.

I am so very sorry to hear of your loss Shawn...it hurts very much indeed to be without one's Mom, at least for the duration of this life cycle;it is never easy when one's family unit is reduced, especially by the matriarch...the tat remembrance by yourself & your sister I am sure your Mother would be very touched by .....my heartfelt thoughts to yourself & your grieving family at this sad time Scott

This is an awesome remembrance gift to yourself and to your Mom, I am sure She did look down and approve, approve of the love that her family is showing how She is remembered by, I think that that is very beautiful......Hold your head High Shawn, I personally think you did what was in your heart and a Mom loves that......I hope that this brings some closure to the grief you must be feeling...Cheers Shawn from the Thugs
